Climbing High Nurseries; Rye Hills Farm Day Nursery
Rye Hills Farm Day Nursery is committed to delivering the highest quality childcare and early education to all the children and families that attend our setting.
Our primary aim is to provide a safe, nurturing environment, and we strongly believe children thrive whilst learning through play and exploration. Play is one of the most important factors in a child's life. Through play they develop physical and intellectual skills, social and emotional attitudes and language abilities. We give the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities, from messy play to role-play!
The nursery was historically a poultry farm which has been tastefully converted into an 102 place Children’s Day Nursery.
We are surrounded by 3 acres of outside space including 3 covered decking area’s, 3 grassed areas plus an enclosed field which is all part of the nursery grounds used for nature walks and forestry activities.
At our Nursery we provide a safe and stimulating environment enabling children to have freedom of choice. All children's care and development is enhanced by our highly qualified and experienced practitioners, they are also all DBS checked.
We supply our kitchen with seasonal organic fresh fruit and vegetables which we grow from our own allotments and orchards. The children are actively involved in helping to grow and pick the vegetables/fruit for the cook to use for their daily meals. We also have chicken's in which the pre-school children help feed daily and collect any eggs which may have been laid.
Our nursery promotes a healthy lifestyle, healthy nutritional menu and a high standard of hygiene in its day to day work with children.
